Clothing

His dark green Hero costume looks like he's on his way to a comic book convention, except its tactical quality suggests it could take a beating. His costume looks new except for the short tattered yellow cape.

Otherwise his sense of fashion is whatever passes for boring. Comfortable, muted blues, greens, grays, whites, and blacks. (This guy owns a T-shirt that says "T-shirt" on it. I don't know what to tell you.) His sneakers, however, are bright red.

Demeanor

Normally bright-eyed, but with restful and serious moments due to events in his life. You want to shove him in a school locker, but his smile can solve world hunger. A bit of a yes-man... except when he's not.

Sound

Large vocal and emotional range. Prone to muttering weirdly to himself when analyzing. Panic is undignified, voice often rising an octave. Champion of ugly crying. Scent

Nothing out of the ordinary? He eats hearty and healthy. He sweats when nervous. He uses boring soap.

Personality

• Hero complex He follows his instinct to save others without question. He prioritizes this selflessly regardless of his own fear, what others will think of him, or even bodily harm. He believes he can and should save his enemies. His greatest fear is not being able to save someone in front of him, particularly someone dear to him.
• Empathetic His emotions are honest and written on his face. Izuku feels he can no longer stay shy and quiet when it really matters, like when observing someone's distress or speaking up for a friend.
• Selfless His instinctive drive to go out of his way for others is one of his strongest traits, played straight and without embarrassment. It sets him apart from other protagonists in his canon and genre. However, he forgets to take his well-being into account.
• Insightful He observes people and gets to the heart of their motivations. It'd be creepy if he weren't so altruistic about it.
• Polite By default, Izuku is considerate, diligent, and works well with others.
• ...except when he's not Normally, he has to be pushed to insult another person. However, when he gets into more emotionally-charged fights, he can show abrasive or aggressive behavior. He first picked it up from Bakugou, the image of victory in his mind. Ultimately, it stems from his anger at someone harming someone else, though he might direct it at a rival who's being particularly stubborn. He has also learned to compete at his best to grow camaraderie among rivals.
• Approachable Izuku is approachable, kind, and reaches out to others. If he thinks someone is in trouble, including emotional trouble, he tends to meddle even when he's not asked. While All Might praises this as heroic, application has mixed results for Izuku.
• Awkward Bullied until high school, he used to be shy and flinched when someone was mean. Since he's ended up helping people, he's gained more confidence despite his social awkwardness. He can get through to people, but public speaking is still the true enemy...
• Overthinker Though his notetaking hobby helps with observation and strategizing, he tends to overthink things. He even mutters these thoughts out loud, a running gag.
• Nerdy His fanboy hobby of taking notes on Heroes will never die, he collects Hero merch, and he gets good grades.
• Clever His notetaking and overthinking means he is a very good on-the-fly strategist. He tackles a challenge holistically, whether by grasping desperately at anything he's learned, or showing the fruits of his training.
• Tenacious Unexpectedly fierce in brutal fights. In extreme cases, he may go into a berserker-like rage. This may summon hysterical strength, go beyond his limits, and/or lower his self-preservation. However, he doesn't lose his sense of self. He remains a person who saves others. More than physical ability, this is the true power of his tenacity in adversity.
• Self-destructive Even while being mostly open about how he feels, Izuku developed a bad habit of hiding pain to reassure others. Faced with the heavy destiny of his Quirk, he's been saying "I'm fine" through broken bones and physical and emotional exhaustion. He's made of tough stuff, but never trust Izuku when he says he's "fine."
